Cousins

The last weekend in February the Sechrists visited us on their way up from Orlando. We loved having them here. The main event was Madelyn's Birthday Party, complete with streamers, balloons, crafts, treats, toys and a rather adorable game of pin the tail on the donkey. We had planned for Debbie and the kids to travel back with them to Virginia (in their beautiful new minivan) and visit there for a while. Unfortunately, Hannah was not feeling well and Ben was pretty miserable with teething, so we decided to give everybody a few more days of rest at home. That Tuesday, after we were blessed to find inexpensive plain tickets, Debbie, Hannah and Benjamin, flew up to Virginia. Over the visit Noah and Hannah became quite good buddies. They spent lots of time "wrestling" and playing together. Maddy and Hannah got to play dolls together and Madelyn seemed quite enamored with her little baby cousin "Ben-O". Meanwhile, the quiet house gave Jared a chance to prepare for and take his Entrance Exams for Clinic...and catch up on his movie watching. :)
