On Veteran's Day Jared took a couple hours off work and we all went to the parade in Marysville. There were horses, loud motorcycles, fire trucks, high school bands and candy. There were lots of soldiers and veterans and the families of soldiers and veterans. Hannah and I talked lots about it as I answered her questions. We talked about her Uncle Tim in Iraq and the veterans in her family. A few weeks after the parade, at lunch, all on her own Hannah prayed and thanked Heavenly Father for the soldiers who fought and prayed that they would be kept safe. I am thankful for people who love their country, have a heart of service and do the bravest jobs in the world.
