On our way down to AZ Jared said, "Hey, you want to stop by the Grand Canyon, it's only a couple of hours out of the way and I think we can make it before the sun goes down." I love my adventurous, spontaneous husband. : ) It was super fun to race the sunset to see this natural wonder. The drive in was beautiful and filled our hearts with fresh air. A million stars in the sky and that great big golden moon rise, on the way out, were a perfect, magical way to end the day. The Grand Canyon itself was epic and did not disappoint. So fun to share our first visit there with our little family, on a whim. : )
