Happy St. Patrick's Day!

For St. Patrick's Day we decided to celebrate in the traditional Irish fasion...Ice Skating. :) We had planned on going for a winter weekend activity, but all of our winter weekends slipped away before we had the chance. After we got to the rink that morning, Jared and Hannah put on their skates and headed out. He took her about 2 yards and Hannie was done. We told her no worries and we could give it a try again next year. She told us that maybe the ice wouldn't be as slippery next year. :) As we were getting a refund for the skating, the girl at the counter mentioned that Greenville Parks and Rec was having a St. Patrick's Day Festival for children right there at the Pavilion and we were just in time for lunch! What luck! After dining on green popcorn, sandwiches, chips and capri sun, Hannah did bowling, a ring toss, face painting (both cheeks :), "fishing," received a made to order ballooon butterfly and bounced and slid to her heart's content! It was at total kick to watch her having so much fun! After that little bit o' luck, we're thinking there must be a drop of Irish blood in amongst our ancestry somewhere! :)

At one point we asked Hannah to pose for a picture...we ended up capturing an adorable little blur on her way back for more. :)
