Trail Tracker
We are happy to announce a new fixture on our blog...the Stubblefield Family Trail Tracker. Our goal is to hike 25 miles together in 2008. We'll keep info on each trail we hike and our total mileage on the Trail Tracker. Our first hike for the year was at the Raven Rock State Park on the Cape Fear River, near Lillington, NC. We hiked the Raven Rock Loop Trail, hiked down the steps on the rock, as far as the trail would go along the rock, back up and out to the overlook. On the way in the trail wound through the woods and ran across a beautiful clear stream. The rock itself was awesome, with little water falls, over hangs and spring wild flowers growing on the banks of the river. The overlook had a great view of the river and the woodland for miles around. Benjamin rode on Deb's back throughout and Hannah alternated between riding on Jared's back and hiking herself. The dogs were able to hike it all except for the steps back up the rock. Thanks to Beck and Thad for suggesting such a great place for our first hike!

The Trail Tracker is a great idea. Looks like you had a great time. We can't believe how "grown up" Ben looks. Must be the cool haircut. Hannie looks like she loved the day.
What a fun family goal!
