February Visit to NC

The first weekend in February we made a trip down south. We stopped at the distribution center in DC and then headed on to our favorite little spot in the woods, the Smith's place in NC. We arrived late Thursday night and tucked into waiting beds. Friday we visited, cooked, ate, explored the woods, fed the goats and chickens and played...oh and I napped...a bit : )...that long trip and late night, did this girl in her third tri in! Saturday Jared visited the Raliegh Temple and we visited, cooked, ate and played some more, except this time Aunt Judie joined us too. : ) It was a totally delightful weekend. The kids loved playing together. Hannah took her little girl cousin under her wing and Ben and Josh were adorable, and at the best moments, giggly : ), buddies. Us grown ups filled our nights with yummy treats and great conversation. We share a lot of similar interests and chatted into the wee hours both nights. AND the Smiths blessed us with a car load of baby things. We feel so blessed by their generosity and now it's time to get ready for baby! : ) Here are a few pics of our weekend in the winter woods...
