George Washington

George Washington was our person of the month in February. The more I read of his words, the more I liked and admired this strong and wise man. I am so thankful to have been born in the land of the free and the home of the brave...made free, by brave founders and patriots like President Washington.

We found a fantastically written and beautifully painted picture biography at the library. The kids loved it and begged to read a little more at each meal or snack. I loved the questions and conversations that came with each new page!
