Second Semester Dance

Hannah had her second semester parent observation day two weeks ago. The girls are getting ready for their big recital in May. They have their costumes ready and all their steps learned. Just a couple more weeks of practice! Also, that weekend Hannah and I went to watch the Converse College Dance Ensemble Concert together. For our second girls night out we had a bagel treat, since they are treats now in our gluten-free household. :) Hannah saw them being made on Julia Child's program that week and when I asked her what she wanted for our treat she did not hesitate and she was not disappointed. :) Hannah's instructor is the Ensemble's director and the head dance instructor at the College. She danced with her girls for one of the pieces. It was beautiful. Although, word to the wise, when your 3 year old says, "Mom let's sit in the balcony." Go with it. Don't tell her you'll be able to see better from the floor. Sitting still and quiet for an after bed time dance concert is harder than you'd think and we ended up in the balcony anyway. :)
