Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday gave us a bright, sunny afternoon! It was a beautiful day for Melanie's second annual Easter Egg Hunt. : ) This year she came to us, bearing baskets and lots and lots of eggs. She hid them with care and then the kiddos were off to hunt them.

Eggs were hidden everywhere, in the rocks and in the trees.

At first Caleb got a little flustered. He didn't know which way to look or turn. Should he grab his basket or run after an egg? It was so sweet. But, he quickly got the hang of it and with Dad as his partner gave the big kids a run for their money. : )

Ben was SO serious about egg hunting, I had to ask him to stop a second and smile for me. : )

The Loot

The kids were super sweet. They traded and shared and gave away prizes they thought their brother or sister might enjoy more. They warmed up my Mama's heart with their goodness and love.

Ben especially loved the silly string fight.
It was so fun to watch him giggling and having a blast!
