After the troops returned from cleaning up the baseball fields, our Midwife, Mary, made her first visit to our house. She learned where everything is and checked on our preparations. She made a few good suggestions, but we are pretty much all set. After that we had our visit. As always, everything looks good. Baby is low and the heart rate is strong. She laid out a plan for us after we talked with her about the pre-laboring I've been doing and our previous labors. She made sure Jared was ready to receive the baby before she got here, in the chance that I advance to complete before going into active labor. Even just a noticeable change in the contractions...we call her...because, that could be it. : ) This house is filled to the brim with anticipation!
