Well, just before we left SC, things started warming up. During the last bit of spring weather we had a fun day up at Lyceum and by the next weekend, when the kids got to go to their first birthday party, for one of Hannah's nursery friends, our southern summer had officially begun, sunblock, swim suits, AC and all. We left school two weeks early and traveled out to California. And, although we came for a very sad reason, it has been wonderful to be here with Grandma and Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins for such a long summer vacation. We are putting Grandma and Grandpa's swimming pool, trampoline and sand table to good use, we've had some really fun day trips and most of all we are just enjoying being with family.
